✨ What It’s About
In A More Excellent Way, Steven Biggs takes readers directly to Scripture, walking carefully through 1 Corinthians 12–14 to discover what the apostle Paul actually taught. Written with clarity and a pastor’s heart, this book is designed for Christians who look for biblical answers rather than personal speculation or tradition.
• Clear exposition of each chapter, showing how Paul addressed the Corinthian church’s misuse of gifts.
• Practical insights into the nature of tongues, prophecy, and the higher way of love.
• Guidance for individuals as well as churches seeking to order their worship in line with God’s Word.
Whether you are coming out of the Charismatic Movement, questioning long-held assumptions, or simply desiring to understand Scripture more deeply, this guide offers a gentle yet firm path to the truth.
Discover why Paul urged believers to pursue love above all—and why that way is truly the more excellent way.
👥Who is this Book For?
Anyone who wants to learn more about the spiritual gifts Paul references in 1 Cor 12-14 and specifically charismatics and former charismatics who are searching for the truth of what God Word actually teaches on this subject.
🌅 The Inspiration Behind the Book
I am a former charismatic who, for 30 years, was not taught God’s word correctly. I believed in the prosperity gospel and the WOF heresy. The HS graciously led my wife and me out of that error. Many in my family are still in the movement and are caught up in such terrible theological errors. I wrote the book as a way to be able to share my heart with them and the truth of God’s Word because I love them and want them to know the truth.
