Having worked with churches and parachurches while managing a government community development initiative with the Salvation Army, I edited two books with academics and practitioners on building stronger communities with children and families, which are now in more than 1,000 academic libraries worldwide. This book was written to include Biblical insights that are not found in these more secular publications.

✍️ About the Author
Karl Brettig has had extensive experience in both church and state renewal and reform initiatives. He has edited/authored several publications, including Building Stronger Communities with Children and Families (2 editions), Building Integrated Connections for Children their Families and Communities, Quality Play and Media in Childhood Education and Care, Changing Hearts Changing Communities, and The River of the Water of Life. He majored in Psychology and English and has post-graduate qualifications in education and theology.
