Good advice.

I do a lot of SEO work on our website but hadn’t occurred to me that wouldn’t work on Substack without a custom domain. However, I’ve also noticed that deliverability of emails is better with Substack which makes me nervous about switching to the custom domain option. So many domain-focused emails shoot straight into spam folders. Do you have any thoughts on this?

I have a custom domain with both of my publications and I've never had this issue.

That's because I haven't connected it to my substack yet ;) I own the domain.
