S. A. Michael - The Eagle Has Risen: The Resurrection in the Mirror of the Moon Landing
S. A. Michael is a Christian author, retired technology leader, and author of The Eagle Has Risen, a book on the historical evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus. Originally from Tennessee, he spent most of his adult life in Southern Colorado and now lives in Central Texas with his wife. Together they have three adult daughters and a granddaughter.
Michael spent his career in technology, ultimately serving for six years as a software architect and leader within an international Christian ministry. That role brought together two longstanding parts of his life: technology and Christian faith.
He has been a born-again Christian for nearly 40 years. His background in technology taught him to ask questions, examine evidence, understand how complex systems fit together, and challenge assumptions—including his own. Those same instincts now shape his writing on Christian apologetics, at the intersection of faith, history, reason, and truth.
The Eagle Has Risen, his first book, makes the historical case for the Resurrection through an unusual comparison with the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Through his writing and his UponTruth project, Michael hopes to encourage thoughtful conversations about the foundational truth claims of Christianity and our world.

Michael is currently researching a second book while working on a next edition of the first, which he hopes to launch and publish around Easter 2027.
