Living Devotion and the Whole Desire of God is about misunderstandings as to what God actually requires of believers is frequently accompanied by a lack of knowledge regarding their positional status and guidance on personal engagement. By blending biblical theology, spiritual insight and practical guidance, the book seeks to edify, enrich, and encourage by expounding on the primary matter that concerns God regarding every believer: our devotion. This then is “the whole desire of God” – a people dedicated to being devoted to Him.
The book moves beyond theological constructs to address how ordinary believers can deepen their private devotion to God, both spiritually and practically. Central to this is the appropriation of the “positional blessings” that are available to every believer, using them to engender relational transformation, answering the ordinary believer’s challenge of abiding in Christ through the cultivation of the state of “Living Devotion”.

Robert Spriddell is an ordinary Christian, living just outside of Cambridge, England. He has been a Christian since 2000 and has taught home groups for many years, spoken and taught in various Churches in Cambridgeshire and beyond. He is passionate about devotion and seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ.
