Dawn ~ The Happy Farmwife is a Christian young adult (YA) author from Michigan and the writer of Flowers Can Bloom Through Ashes, her debut coming-of-age novel, released in July 2026. Dawn was born and raised in Michigan and still lives there today, on a third-generation family farm with her husband and their cat. Before she wrote fiction, she published short articles in local newspapers and several farming magazines. Her dream of becoming an author started early. When she was eight years old, she won a blue ribbon at a young author event, and she held onto that dream until she saw her first novel in print.
Flowers Can Bloom Through Ashes is a Christian YA novel for teens and adults who love faith-filled coming-of-age stories. The book is available now on Amazon, and Dawn is already writing a sequel. The title hasn’t been chosen yet.
