Meet Eli is a gentle Christian picture book for young children that explores the experience of worry and anxiety through the eyes of a seven-year-old boy. When Eli begins to notice the uncomfortable feelings that sometimes accompany worry, his grandmother teaches him that he can bring all of his concerns to God through prayer. As Eli learns to express his fears honestly, give thanks for the good things in his life and trust in God’s care, he discovers a sense of peace and courage.
Inspired by Philippians 4:6–7, this heartwarming story offers practical, faith-based tools to help children navigate big emotions while deepening their relationship with God. It also includes discussion points and Scripture references to encourage meaningful conversations between children and the adults who love them.

This book is primarily written for children aged 4–8 years old. 🌅 The Inspiration Behind the Book
As both a primary school teacher and a Christian, I have seen firsthand that children often experience worries that can feel overwhelming, yet they do not always have the language or tools to process those emotions.
I wanted to create a story that acknowledges the reality of childhood anxiety while pointing children towards the comfort and peace that can be found in God. Inspired by Philippians 4:6–7, Meet Eli encourages children to pray honestly, practise gratitude and understand that God cares deeply about every aspect of their lives.
