Book 2 / Oct 10th: Angels on the Purple Floor, by Steph Stanley.
This is a memoir for moms. Stephanie tells the story of her twin boys, including her son Grant, who was born with a heart defect and spent most of his short life on the cardiac floor at Children’s Nebraska. She writes about losing a baby before the twins, long hospital nights, and the nurses and friends God kept placing in her path. Each chapter pairs a Scripture with one of her poems and a short journaling prompt, so you can set your own story next to hers.
If you’ve lost a baby, or you’re living in the hospital with a medically fragile child, this book was written for you.

A brief guide to 99-cent pre-orders (for our authors)
So why would an author sell a book for less than a dollar? At $0.99, Amazon pays a 35% royalty, so the author keeps about $0.35 a copy. Nobody’s getting rich on that.
What the low price buys is momentum. Pre-orders count toward your ranking on the day they’re placed, so a steady stream of $0.99 orders before launch can push your book up its categories before release day. Readers who grab a cheap copy are also more likely to leave a review, and early reviews are what convince the next stranger to pay full price.
Small price now, but pays later.
